We make it easy for you to find, book and organize all your French related outings in one place. If you have questions, review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s). For any additional inquiries, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are happy to assist you.
What types of events can I find on Sorteer?
If an event is French related, you will find it on Sorteer.
We list French language events from around the world, as well as events in English that relate to a French speaking country. Non French speakers are always welcome!
How are the events listed?
We list events by topics (music, art, sports, culture, etc…) and by language skills (French required, English subtitles, Kids…). You can also search using any text. Events are location based, so you get to discover what is around you first.
Do I have to register to view the website?
You can browse the website as you wish (as a ‘USER’). But you do have to register to become a Sorteer ‘MEMBER’ and get additional benefits on Sorteer (i.e. retrieve your tickets, get discounted tickets…).
How do I purchase tickets for an Event?
Select your event and the number of tickets you wish to purchase and proceed to check-out. Alternatively, when tickets are not sold directly by Sorteer, click on the link to the event website.
Who has access to my personal information?
Does Sorteer keep my credit card information on file?
No. Sorteer does not collect your credit card information. When you want to purchase tickets for an Event and click the Buy button, you will be transferred to the secure Stripe website, a large, secure unaffiliated payment processing company. Stripe accepts all major credit cards.
Will I have to pay any sales tax on the Event?
It depends. Sales tax varies from state to state. If the Event is subject to sales tax in the state in which the Organizer provides the Event, the Organizer will include all applicable taxes in the tickets price and redeem the taxes. Sorteer does not collect sales tax.
What happens if the Event is cancelled?
We strongly advise you to always check with the event organizer before going to an event in case of any modifications or cancellation. Sorteer is not the ticket seller and is not responsible for event cancellations.
In case of cancellation, first check the event page to see if the event organizer has a refund policy. To request a refund, reach out to the organizer of your event using the information available in your order confirmation email. Once the request has been has been processed, refunds should take up to 5 business days to show on your account (7 business days outside the U.S.).
Can I get a refund after I purchase an Event?
Purchased Events are non-refundable. Under certain circumstances, determined by the event organizer, you may receive a credit from the Organizer. See Terms and Conditions: Rescheduling, Cancellation and Credits.
There are very few situations in which the Organizer will issue a refund. The event organizer, not Sorteer, sets these terms and conditions. Any refund issues should be resolved between the event organizer and the attendees.
